Truth be told, I had this wine sometime last year, if not at least six months earlier, but just didn't get around to writing about it. Since then, I have purchased bottles of it numerous times, but just failed to enter a review. Today, I will do different.

While organic wines are establishing a foothold, they have been, in recent times, given some not so good reviews as much as non-organic wines This wine is a very clean chardonnay with citrus flavors of grapefruit and pineapple. It has ample acidity and would probably be great with anything spicy, as well as the standards of lighter fare, seafood and poultry. The price makes it excellent for everyday consumption, and also for entertaining small or large parties.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
