Petrol is one of those flavors that I don't really like
in a wine, and one which I most encounter in Gruner
Veltliner from Austria, however it does have its place in
the world of wine.
In this case, the wine doesn't have the traditional
citrus core that sauvignong blancs are none for, but that
petrol component pushes this to a muted citrus that you
taste one to two seconds after the wine is on your tongue.
I gave this wine a seven because I am not a person that
likes the petrol flavors, but some with other tastes might
enjoy this pretty much. There's gotta be some reason why
they're producing this.
