I think that Chardonnay is the perfect wine for people
to start getting into wine, but unfortunately many people
don't realize that there are many ways to 'brew' a
chardonnay, even the chablis style. I for one hate buttery
tasting and feeling versions, and have not always favored
every style of oaked and unoaked.
However, this wine totally charmed me and I had to give
it a rating of 9; I'll reserve 10 for when they come out
with something a little more classic -- I mean, I know that
they have something else in their bag of tricks that
they'll release down the line, that is if they already have
and I don't know about it.
It's actually hard for me to write this review, as I
drank most of the bottle last night, but I can tell you
that the flavors consisted of a wonderful level of citrus,
apple, lychee fruit and pear.
This wine can probably pair well with about anything,
especially red meats if you are a white wine aficianado.
This is another wine that will make you interested in
trying everything else that the producer puts out.
