If you needed to entertain a group of maybe around 20 people and only had around $100 dollars, then Crane Lake is the way to go (prices for their quaff is usually $5 a bottle in non-controlled states, and I am saying that you'll have at least one bottle per person; let a guest chip in for the sales tax).

For a while, I was using their Chardonnay as my daily sipping wine, and now I have to put their Sauvignon Blanc as a comparable item.

Unlike most SB's, this wine has none of the acidity and a smooth taste. I recommend.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
