Beringer, not a name associated by most average drinkers
with quality, but Beringer has many lines of wine, and this
one is a step above the Napa Valley Chardonnay, which I
love. However, this one disappointed me as this wine is
essentially woody and very smoky, which while it raises the
complexity to the wine, it overpowers all but the most
analytical palates.
The finish is long and deep, but the ability to get
enough fruit flavors is really disheartening.
