I like Ironstone, hell, I love their Symphony/Obsession, and I decided to finally try their Chardonnay. However, I didn't expect much, and at the same time, I wasn't surprised by it.

This chardonnay is rough around the edges with a combination of a smoky oakyness that is not one of my favorite tastes. However, it's not too prevalent and probably would go great with cold cuts, sliced/cut veggies and a number of cheeses.

If you want to support American, than this wine isn't bad, but you can spend a couple dollars more and get something better, or simply get you a bottle of Rex Goliath instead.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
