The first thing that you notice about this wine is the
bottle itself, dark green glass, with red lettering and a
raised serpent on it, and of course the translation probably
means Red Viper/Snake. When you open it, you are instantly
treated to a nice aroma of spice and curant. The taste is
more dry, with the Sangiovese grape dominating the
experience, but with the Merlot mellowing it out into
something a little more flavorful.
While this is dry, it is not too tannic, but has more
delicate flavors of dark berries, spice and even a little
woodyness.
This wine is perfect with red meats and tomato sauces.
