Okay, it's just that it's raining right now and this is the wine that I choose to open a bottle of. Torrontes is that 'new,' or 'nu-nu,' white grape to the northern hemisphere and it has an interesting taste that is both supple and ample, sublime and totally accommodating, with a nice balance of acidity and fruityness, but with a non-judgmental demeanor that imbues itself for just about anything. This wine is great, and it's inexpensive at the same time. This is a winner!

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
