I've had ice beers, and for the most part, they've all sucked. And that is the reason why I have been slow to try ice wines, especially when viewing the price for them.

However, for those people who are looking for a good dessert wine, and don't mind spending money for it, I would highly recommend this wine. It's something that I tried at the 2007 Philadelphia Wine Festival, and I am now a big fan of it (I've gotta find where I can get it at a decent price).

Nonetheless, it's vibrant flavor(s) are worthy of a great nightcap with a beautiful woman. This is not what you just whip out for anybody folks.Along with this one, I must say that you have to check out some other Mission Hill wines, as you'll be quite surprised and thankful that you did see what they have up North.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
