I can't say that I am great fan of traditional red wines,
and can't say that I am not. It all depends on what I
drinking, and what mood I am in. But since I was having a
steak, I chose to crack open this bottle of red.
I have been a fan of Rex Goliath for several years now,
as they make a nice bevy of wines which run for less than
ten dollars and usually rate 92 points or above (though we
can really dispense with many of these ratings systems,
can't we?). And in this wine, I am equally enthused, elated
and sated.
The wine has a great rich ruby color, followed by great
body and a wonderful taste. Really, the only thing that
matters is the taste, and with this wine, it is rich in dark
plum and dark berry which rightly juxtaposes the slight
amount of hollow tannin that you get in this. I would
consider this a great release, and if you look on their
website, you'll see the list of awards that it has garnered
over time.
Great job you big rooster!
