I've got a bunch of reds that I am hesitant on drinking, and thus I opened my last non-special white today (I'll get some more wine at the end of the week). And I kept my mind open, not expecting anything.

This wine is your typical California Chardonnay, featuring a little mellow and rounded butteryness as well as the traditional Oak flavoring, but it also has some smoky hints that you tend not to really find [in a good way] in wines in this price point. I would say that if you concentrate, you can taste a little pineapple along with some light citrus acidity, and that this wine then smoothly transitions over to a smoke infused ambrosia.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
