Crane Lake Chardonnay just got bumped from my shopping list
after I purchased this one, and so Rex Goliath has also
been moved away.
While at another trip across the creek (Delaware River) to
get me some Mega Millions tickets, I, of course, dropped
into Canal's on Route 38 after tanking up the car.
Sitting on the same row of shelves as my favorite Kendall
Jackson Grand Reserve Chardonnay, I found this wine... or
was it on the aisle one over?
Anyway, for the price, I figured that I would try it, and I
was very much pleased. This wine is the perfect compliment
for seafood or poultry, and it can stand by itself for you,
with or without some friends.
As you can figure out, I try not to get into the exact
tastes that a wine has, unless they are so pronounced as to
be umistakeable to everyone that tries it. I will,
however, say that I could taste the tropical fruit in this
one, almost like a very subdued Jolly Rancher.
Pick this up, if you know what's good for you.
