As most of you know by now, most white wines should no be drank after three years, with some exceptions. I have had some wines by HobNob before, and they haven't let me down, and this chardonnay was no exception to that rule. I drank it along with a sirloin steak that was highly peppered so this was an interesting pairing of the two.

This wine is high in white pepper as well as oak, with a smooth subtle hint of vanilla, much like some great icing. The body is somewhere between medium and high, with it leaning to high. While I drank this warm, I would recommend chilling it.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
