As Rosenblum Cellars wowed me with their Zinfandel, I chose to try the Chardonnay (soon, I will try everything by them; now if I can just get the rep to give me free product).

It's still is amply buttery, and is well oaked as you immediately get when you take in this release. What's different is that it has white pepper accents, which are most indicative of some South American chardonnay that I have had.

On the flip side, I have realized that anything that says vintner on it is near the bottom of the line when it comes to flavor (Kendall Jackson anyone), so I am expecting something wonderful when I step up to their next grade of Chardonnay

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
