One of the wines that came to me as a Christmas gift, this wine was the best of the whites that came in the package.

Produced by the so-called 'King of Sauvignon Blanc,' it was a welcome taste that showed me that all of these types of wines don't have to be full and robust to be enjoyed.

This quaff has a more mellow, understated flavoring that gives it a refined taste that should be amenable to almost any palate, whether the person like dry or wet. It's hard to say that it fits both ends of the spectrum, but in a way, it does, and it just works.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
