Most people have no idea of the depth and sexiness of a good Zinfandel, but I for one have witnessed the breadth and volume of its beauty. I would say that it is one of the juiciest of all red grapes.

This company makes two Zins [that I know of], and this is the more expensive of the two. Costing $20 a bottle, this is a great wine, filled with deep dark plums to no end. Now, while most of us associate prunes with old folks and their need to be regular, plums [and prunes], it is a truly decadent taste when it comes to wine, and this wine delivers in spades.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
