I used to love Fair Valley, but this time they let me down. This Sauv Blanc has too much minerality and petrol characteristics which greatly overshadow the citrus that sauvignon blanc is known for. Somewhere buried deeply within this wine is a lovely pineapple flavor, but as soon as it hits you, you are overly assaulted by old tires (petrol). I want to say that this was a bad bottle. I want to say that this is a bad vintage. But then, I want to ask why didn't they just throw this away.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
