This is the fifth Chilensis wine that I have had and like the others, it's wonderful. Imported by Vici Wine and Spirits, this measures up to the other brands in their portfolio.

The immediate thing that I get from this is cocoa powder followed some oak and then dark fruit. The body of this wine is full with slight tannins in the taste. While the aroma is more oak, you also get green peppers and a little bit of dark fruit. This wine is one of the best Carmenere wines that I have had.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
