This is the second time that I have had to write a review for this wine, and it's still equally great. The blend is 62% Malbec, 21% Syrah, and 17% Bonarda. The wine in itself is a purple with a slight reddish tint, but the flavor is what you want.

Now, this is an inexpensive wine, and so you're not going to get a lot of complexity in it, but you get a combination of wet leather and sweeter red, which as the bottle says, would go great with barbecued foods. On the finish, there is some dry with a transition over to currants.

This wine would be great for barbecues, and for lighter red meat fare.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
