This is the second time that I have had to write a review
for this wine, and it's still equally great. The blend is
62% Malbec, 21% Syrah, and 17% Bonarda. The wine in itself
is a purple with a slight reddish tint, but the flavor is
what you want.
Now, this is an inexpensive wine, and so you're not going
to get a lot of complexity in it, but you get a combination
of wet leather and sweeter red, which as the bottle says,
would go great with barbecued foods. On the finish, there
is some dry with a transition over to currants.
This wine would be great for barbecues, and for lighter
red meat fare.
