So, it's been awhile since I have had the prototypical
Kiwi Sauv Blanc which has great clean citris and ample
acidity and this wine filled that bill. Honestly, it's the
second bottle of it as I didn't write a review when I drank
the first one.
The citrus is a very demure lemon, not too overbearing,
and actually great with anything. It reminds me of the
lemon component for a typical Ethiopian vinaigrette (shout
out to Kaffa Krossing in West Philly). The color is a pale
yellow and the body is very easy to drink down. In fact, I
had this with twenty wings from the Checkers over at 43rd &
Market Streets (Philly), and it was the perfect compliment.
As this is a Premium Collection wine (don't know if
you'll find it anywhere else), pick up several bottles
before you can't find it anymore.
