This is the second time that I have had to review this wine, and I am not really mad about it at all.  The smell is leather and tobacco and the taste conveys black currants and a little leather as well.  The cooler is an extremely inky purple and this wine has a nice depreciating finish that stays with you for about twenty seconds.  While this wine isn't excitingly complex, for the price it is a diamond.  The label is correct when it says that this would go with spicy kabobs, pizza or burgers.  It would be phenomenal with them!

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
