One of my buddies over at Canal's in Pennsauken turned me on to this one.  It's a nice, rich Merlot at a very affordable price.  It's a nice deep purple with the taste of deep and dark fruit flavors with just the slightest aspect of cocoa dust to it.  There is the presence of oak barrel aging in the taste as well.  The finish lasts about fifteen seconds and the tongue on this feels like slippery velvet.

This wine is a great bargain and should be the first Merlot that someone tries before working their way up to more expensive and more complex Merlots.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
