I first had this lovely wine years ago at a wine festival, and haven't really seen it since.  Well, today I spied it at $18 a bottle and figured that I would pick up one.

Think strawberry spliced with blackberry and you get the idea of the taste of this wine.  It's not too light and not too dark, but rather toasty and tasty.  In fact, the flavors come at you after a good ten seconds and it's something that most people don't notice.

This is one of the most slept on American wines!

Recognize, fool.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
