I attended a wine tasting yesterday and they presented some of the best wines rated by Wine Spectator.  This was one of them.  I really tend to stay away from most Malbec wines as many just don't seem to deep, complex or even like the winemaker wasn't just dialing it in.  I have probably come across less than five which wowed me, and this one is one of them.

You get a combination of smoke and cocoa in the taste which is has a nice long finish that stays with you for more than thirty seconds.  The weight is a little heavy on the tongue but the feel is superbly smooth.  The more you taste, the more you get cocoa mixed with dark fruit.  And this is wondrous.  Definitely a must have wine for the year.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
