I have had a number of wines that are a mix of Ugni Blanc and Colombard, and this by far is the best.  The mix is 75% and 25% and for those that have only experienced the most marketed varietals, this will initially remind you a lot of Sauvignon Blanc.

This wine is very clean with a little minerality to it.  There is acidity which reminds me of a nice lemon, not too tart, but just right.  The color of this wine is a nice light straw yellow.  You can drink this whole bottle without even noticing.

For the price, it's a winner.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
