There is one thing that will make me purchase a wine, and that is the percentage of Petit Verdot in it.  This lovely varietal can give a wine some tremendous depth and smokyness.  And in this wine, it does give it to this wine in spades; in fact, it's 12% of this wine's makeup.

The rest is 61% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot.

And this wine is bold in taste, but I am thinking that they went a little overboard with the Petit Verdot.

The taste has some very dark fruit in it, with a little bit of leather and just the slightest amount of green pepper undercurrent to it.  The finish is dry and it does exhibit just a tad of softness on the tongue.  The color is a nice lovely purple.
