I have had Lindeman's wines before, usually it's something that a restaurant has and they really don't have anything much better than it.  As I did a wine run yesterday, I wanted to pick up something just to throw things off.  Well, this one did it in spades.

First, the aroma is nose-rattling.  It smells of an oily funk which assaults you almost as bad as smelling puke.  Second the taste is horrible, tasting more of oil, slate/chalk/mineral than anything else.  There is really nothing else to talk about this wine.

If you see it on a list, laugh at the person that made that wine list, and leave.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
