It's the Memorial Day weekend and I needed to pick up a few things to get me through the hotness of it all.  I wound up picking up several rose wines, both still and sparkling, and this one caught my eye because it's Pinot Grigio.

The feel is dry and the taste is strawberries, faint and delicate.  Color is a nice cool/pale pink and the finish is dry, lasting in excess of fifteen seconds.  It's on sale right now in PA which makes it a good bargain at eight dollars a bottle.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
