55% Chardonnay, 44% Sauvignon Blanc, 1% Gewürztraminer, this wine is another little gem that I picked up.  While the sweetest varietal is only used for one percent of the makeup, the residual sugar is high enough to make you think of a dessert wine without all of the syrupy-ness of them.

You get apples and pears with this as well as a hint of spice on the backend, with a little bit of acidity that brings it all together.  Not something for everyday drinking, this would be best suited chilled with fruits or desserts.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
