For those that don't know, Amarone is one of my favorite wines, and it was once considered the wine of kings in Italy.  It can be made from up to five different varietals, and has at least three of them in it.  This one is juicy and spicy with a finish that lasts for a good thirty seconds.  This is also due to the strength of the alcohol content, which slaps you upside your head and makes you feel justified in the price.  And actually, the price is quite inexpensive for an Amarone, which is less than thirty dollars.

Anyway, this is a great wine

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
