So, I decided to try something different and picked up this bottle of Chardonnay by David Bruce.  I am pretty much over the vanilla and oak style prevalent in California, but I said what the hell.

This wine is a lovely yellow in color with a smooth silkyness feel on your tongue.  The weight is a just little heavy and you immediately get vanilla with a rounding mouth of oak.  However, you can detect just a little citrus which makes this wine more approachable to many palates.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
