This bottle is part of a promotional two-pack costing only $12; the other bottle is a merlot.  This seems to be a small project by Cesari wines (Verona) who make the lovely Rispasso called Mara.

Upon first opening this bottle, it spreads a nice cloud of muted lemons which you can more enjoy by placing your nose directly over your glass.  The color is a straw yellow and the mouth of this wine is pretty much middle of the road.

The taste immediately hits you with citrus, with no aspect of one flavor more than another.  You get a little lemon along with it, which drops quickly off into the lightest floral aspects available to a white wine.  The finish lasts about twelve seconds.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
