This seems like one of those wines in which the juice is sourced and any good name is slapped on it.  This doesn't say that it is bad, as this wine has some very strong fruit aspects (dark cherries, blackberries) and a whisp of cocoa as well.  However, this will never appreciate with age and I doubt that we will ever see a reserve version of it.  It's great for everyday drinking, and the label doesn't lie about that.  It has a very jammy feel and the finish lasts a good fifteen seconds.  This wine has a little more heft than the other schlock out there and I am proud of whomever is behind thts.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
