So yeah, I have a thing for big wines, especially Amarone, Bordeaux style blends, a few meritages and anything that makes you really appreciate living.  This wine is one of those and I hope to visit the winery this year.

Moderatelty priced, this wine is a true value as you normally don't find great Amarones for less than fifty dollars a bottle.  It is very fruit forward, filled with the unctuous taste of dark plums and black currants.  It is so powerful, you can get high from the aroma itself.   This wine is a raven haired vixen, voluptuous and buxom.  It is Vesta in a bottle.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
