Yeah, yeah.  You know that I am a fan of the zinfande and so I decided to pick this one up.  Weirdly and most interestingly, you immediately get the taste of strawberries which levels off to a little black cherry.  This wine showcases another aspect of zin that most people might not know if they just drink the straight up powerful ones, and while this wine has 15% alcohol content, it is well hidden.  Color is a deep rich purple and the weight is middle of the road.  The finish last about fifteen seconds strong, and then peters off for another fifteen seconds.  You also get a very small whiff of cocoa in this wine as well.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
