Because this wine had Petit Verdot in it, I had to pick it up. The immediate tastes that I get from it is dark cherries but this turns into a taste of a leather aspect that rules from ten seconds in until the wine finishes out.
This wine is 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Carmenere, 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Syrah and 2% Petit Verdot. I had this with some Sirloin, as I unfortunately let 3.25 pounds of Porterhouse steak go bad, but this still went superbly.
