The first thing that you smell is citrus, but when you taste it, you get a combination of lemon and minerality but with a little oilyness to it.  Again, I always try to expose myself to things that I never have had before, and this wine was inexpensively beckoning to me across a crowded aisle.  The flavor hits you real quick and then drops off, but reminds me of lemon candy.

This is something different to try, and I have a feeling that many of you out there might find this charming.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
