This is the third wine that I have had from this producer, and it does taste different from most Pinot Gris wines that I have ever had.  This one is a little fiesty with a different aspect to it, but it does have the taste of white nectarines and other stone fruits.  This aspect really is the acidity which is counter to the fruit.  This combines to hit your mouth with a double shot of character that continually fights for dominance and is quite interesting after all.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
