Sounds like this should be the title for a song, but this is what this wonderful libation tastes like.  The alcohol intensity starts slowly and builds up in your mouth about fifteen seconds after your initial first taste.  The immediate taste is that of dark cherries, you know, those black cherries also called Wishniak.  This rounds out in your mouth and you detect a little bit of cocoa dust as well as aspects of leather and tobacco.

The only thing that I am wondering is whether another two years in the bottle would make this even more wonderful.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
