A friend asked me what one of my favorite types of wines was, and upon hearing that procured me a bottle.  The wine style is Amarone, and I am open to trying releases by any number of producers.  This wine has muted accents of leather and tobacco which transition into an array of dark plums and cherries.  It spans the distance between the most full-bodied Amarone wines and the most light-bodied, but I would not call it medium-bodied.

In itself, this wine is a very nice thing to behold.
