I try to try something new and decadent at least once a month and I bought this wine several weeks ago and finally paired it with a porterhouse steak.  This wine is not bad, but it's just lacking the special feeling and taste that I want to experience.  61% Cab Sauv, 13% Cab Franc, 11% Malbec, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot.  I taste tobacco and leather, which covers over the dark plums.  This is not bad, but I like something more fruit forward.

However, this wine is a ballbuster which will make many people happy.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
