Sangioveses are something that are relatively new to me, not new in that it's something that I just have started to taste, but I am at the point where I am drinking more different productions of it, from the ultra-exciting, to the 'I am not buying this again' variety.

While this is a dry red wine, it's not too dry, and while I don't like dry wines that don't have a lot of power to them, this is something that is smooth and flows right through you in the right way.

I'd say that it's worth a try and a buy so that you get a chance to taste something more than the traditional Spanish and French styles of red.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
