One of my favorite wine varietals in Zinfandel, and I try to try brands/labels that I haven't experienced before.  The price of this wine was right, so I picked it up.  The color is an exceptionally dark purpole that you can almost lose your soul inside of.  The taste evokes berry and leather, but i do get some green pepper as well.  What this wine misses is a more of a juicy and chewy aspect, as well as weight in general.  Not bad, but this won't wind up being on my favorites list.

Oh, but this will hit you after several glasses!

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
