Okay, a client of mine brought this one by and for me it tries to be to much without putting for a good effort at all.  To my knowledge this wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and another varietal.  However, it seems to just be one of those myriad vanity labels that are put out with a decent looking label and no true passion for the wine.  It is a little juicy and chewy but this wine can't decide what or who it wants to be.  To me, the amount of sugar comes across more like flavored syrup that you would put on shaved ice which makes it imperfect for drinking with most food; this would be most suited towards desserts as it has a heavy mouth on it.  Flavor reminds me of dark cherries, but again, it is too sweet.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
