Okay, so this is something different that a friend of mine came by with.  This wine is a little different and while I taste mostly dark fruits, I also taste some leather and tobacco with a vanilla undercurrent.  While the alcohol level is only 13%, it does rise up and open up your palette a little, making you think that it is stronger than it really is.  The finish comes back a little later and stays with you; it happens at the one minute mark and then resides in your throat with almost the beauty of Scotch for at least another sixty seconds.

What's funny is that I can't believe how many quality wines this one producer actually comes out with.

The color is a very deep purple with almost a brown tint.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
