The label on this wine intrigued me because the story was that they took some producers from around the world to work on this. Of course, this doesn't mean that they are good producers. So, we essentially have a wine with a New Zealand name, made in Italy and bottled by a French company.
I was expecting something with more of a pear and apricot taste rather than the traditional Italian Pinot Grigio style, but that didn't happen. The wine is not bad, and it is inexpensive enough.
It is clean and crisp and along with the lemon, you get some lemongrass as well, or shall I say more of a herbaceous finish. Not bad for what it is, but the lie in itself defiled it.
