My first excursion with Montes was with
their well-respected and well-loved M, a delicious meritage
of red wines. So, it made sense for me to start trying
their other releases.
This wine is a blend of sauvignon blanc
grapes from the Casablanca Valley (51%) and the Curico
Valley.
The bottle says that the aromas and tastes
has gooseberry and hints of asparagus, though I can't ever
remember tasting gooseberries. The taste, however, is both
classic and phenomenal for this type of wine, delivering a
superb combination of lemon and lime citrus flavors (it's
better than Sprite folks).
Get this wine, and whomever you serve it to
will love you.
