There was a time where I was seriously on a Rosenblum Cellars Zin kick, and while I didn't like this version [back then] as much as Paso Robles release it was on sale the other day so I picked up a bottle.

I am having this with pizza which is an interesting combination.  This wine is very dark and the aroma is enough to get you high -- this wine could probably be turned into jet fuel.  The color is a delectable dark purple and the flavor aspect is dark fruit, but this is very much overshadowed by the intensity of the alcohol.  This is not necessarily a bad thing, but not the best ideal thing.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
