60% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 5% Syrah and 5% Petit Verdot, I was hoping that this wine was an interesting combination.  While it does have heavy tobacco and leather to it, it misses out by not being well-rounded with giving just a little bit of fruit.  But again, that could just be my taste profile as this would probably go perfect with a dry rubbed and aged piece of beef and/or a cigar.

This wine does have an alluring dark purple which pulls you in and the nose does hint of cocoa as well as enough alcohol to get you high.  The finish lasts for about fifteen seconds, but this wine could be sooooo much better.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
