I believe that I had the 2010 version of this wine and loved it, but this one is to damned wild.  The Petit Verdot totally smokes out your mouth in a big way, which makes you feel like you were hanging in a dry smoker for too damned long. This wine is an acquired taste and you get nothing but smoke, tobacco and leather from it.  In fact, it's a little hot and spicy as well.

It's deep and color and a little pungent in aroma.  I give it an 8 but it's really a miss for me.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
